US sanctions 2 Russians, 3 companies for meddling in elections
WASHINGTON, Sep 30 (PRIME) -- Washington has imposed sanctions on two Russians and three companies for their alleged interference in the U.S. elections, the U.S. Treasury Department said in a statement on Monday.
The black lists now include Denis Kuzmin and Igor Nesterov, who are connected to the Internet Research Agency according to the U.S.. It also includes Seychelles-based Autolex Transport Ltd, Czech Republic–based Berateх Group Limited and Linburg Industries Ltd.
Washington says that the companies are linked with Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin.
